Saturday Fancies

This is my plan for today:

Wake up without an alarm, just let the sun stream through my windows.

Breakfast of bagel, bacon and egg!

Starting a new running regime today - sadly I won't be running by this peaceful lake, but trying to dodge the tourists on Tower Bridge.

Making some gnocchi and veg for lunch!

Laundry needs to be done today!!

Michael BublĂ© has a Saturday afternoon show on Magic 105.4 - my favourite radio station and show of the week.

Coffee along with some reading that I'm trying to finish this week for my course.

Today = cleaning my make up brushes.

Tonight Mary and I are watching The Notebook - haven't seen it in such a long time!

What is everyone else getting up to?

Have a lovely Saturday.

Scenes from the Weekend

Bit of a photo heavy post today, sorry.

This weekend was pretty busy.
After a late evening at work on Friday I had to get up on Saturday pretty early to go and meet my friend Nemi, who I haven't seen in AGES.

Berkshire have a county show every September for a weekend and it is about a 15 minute drive from my house, so we went there.
It is full of food, drink, animals and different shows and stands.
It's a nice place to visit although, pretty expensive.

Then yesterday I went to Reading to meet Scott and Laura (who you maybe remember from here)
It was really great to catch up and chat.
After we left Laura, Scott and I just had a quiet afternoon and then we went down to the arcade where Scott was obsessed with the basketball machine.
To be fair, he did beat the machine's high score, twice.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend. X

My top score of 27!
Scott's top score of 40!

I put on my shoes and I'm ready for the weekend

I left London for 5 days this week to spend time at home - the joy of not having any lectures.
It was really great to just have some down-time in a place which is so much quieter than the fast pace of London. It was also really good to see the fam and my dog - I miss her so much! It was also a surprise for my sister - she was shocked when I picked her up at school!
The weather was also beautiful - spring is coming!! Now I can't wait until the summertime.
I had a lovely Chinese meal on Saturday evening and then this afternoon I made some coffee cupcakes from a new recipe book.
Here are some photos from the weekend with captions.. I look out of it in most as I caught a cold while I was at home :(
Hope you all had a great weekend as well. XX
