A number of the blogs I read do this feature called Project Empties where they review the products which they have finished this month. It is one of my favourite types of blog posts so I’ve decided to start too.
Here are mine for August!
Firstly, I’ve just finished using Clean & Clear’s Shine Control daily facial scrub.
This is a great product for shine-free skin which stays soft and doesn’t make my skin oily. I tended to use it in the shower on my face just because I find it easier to remember that way.
The bursting beads within the gel really aid to ‘scrubbing’ all the dirt off your face and it smells nice and tea-treey (new word) too.
It is £3.99 in Boots and I would definitely repurchase in the future. My skin needs variety so I’m currently using a foaming face wash but I would buy this product again.
Secondly, I’ve just finished my bottle of Toni & Guy Refreshing Dry Shampoo, which I’m sad about.
I initially bought this as part of a 3 for £10 deal because I love all the products but usually find them over priced.
This dry shampoo was great – I hate the traditional smell of dry shampoo but this didn’t have it – smelled like all Toni & Guy products.
Only down side (which I find with all dry shampoos) was that it finished quite quickly compared to other products of the same volume.
It is £6.65 in Boots but as I already said it is quite often on a special deal – their Hair Moose is also amazing...
Two last things to say: I’m going to Cornwall tomorrow which I’m excited about – photos and a post to follow.
Also dear Catherine is leaving England to go back to SA today – this makes me sad. You may remember her from the wedding and baking posts.
