Finally the time has come again for my ultimate TV programme to be back on air.
THE GREAT BRITISH BAKE OFF.
(The fact Mel and Sue present also makes this programme awesome - I love Sue Perkins)
It is basically a show where 12 bakers compete to be the best British baker.
What I love about this programme is that the baking is so diverse that someone who is great at cake may be poor at pastry. The variety really adds a new dynamic to reality TV.
So far we have had the cake, pastries and bread.
Every week the programme finishes and I'm absolutely starving and each week there is a 'star baker' and someone gets eliminated.
My personal favourite is Jo - she is so sweet and sounds just like Martine McCutcheon.
Here are some of my personal favourites which have been baked:
Cheese and Onion Bread |
Blueberry Bakewell Tart |
Foccacia |
I can't wait for next week and the biscuit course. Tune in BBC 2 at 8pm on Tuesday! X
